Every Child Deserves to Be Heard
Working with kids is fun. They are creative, silly, honest, and fully themselves. Best job ever! I love partnering with children and their families to help them communicate in ways that allow them to share their thoughts, ideas, and personalities with the world.
I enjoy working with children with early language delays, gestalt language processors, AAC users, children with speech sound disorders, and those who need support with executive functioning. My goal is to help every child communicate in a way that is meaningful to them while supporting families every step of the way.

Whether a child communicates with spoken words, gestures, or an AAC device, my goal is to help them communicate in the way that works best for them.

When Communication Feels Hard
Many parents tell me they're worried because they can't understand their child, or their child can't tell them what happened during the day. They want to know what their child is thinking, feeling, and experiencing, and it's hard when communication becomes a barrier.
Many families have already tried other therapy services, ABA, social media advice, or endless Google searches. They're looking for answers that fit their child and strategies they can use in everyday life.

Learning Through Play
My therapy is very child-led and play-based. I strive to provide support for learning and communication using games, toys, and movement activities that are motivating and meaningful for each child.

When children are engaged and having fun, they're often learning without even realizing it.

The Best Kind of Progress
The biggest victories aren't always the milestones on paper.

Success is seeing a child become less frustrated because they can communicate their wants, needs, thoughts, and ideas. It's watching children have meaningful interactions with the people who matter most to them and seeing families feel more connected through communication.

Honest Conversations Make the Best Team
I wish more caregivers felt comfortable being honest about what they understand, what they don't understand, and what is or isn't working at home.
Those conversations help us make therapy more meaningful and ensure we're always working toward what matters most for your family.
Families often tell me they appreciate that I make therapy fun, their children are excited to come play with me, they feel their child is safe in my care, and that I truly listen and communicate honestly.

Life Outside the Clinic
When I'm not at Kids In Motion, I'm usually spending time with my husband and our little boy at the cabin. I also enjoy walking, working out, gardening, cooking, reading, being outdoors, and spending time near the water.

And if you ask my family, they'll tell you my favorite movie of all time is The Grinch. I can quote the entire movie and even have a Grinch costume!

You Know Your Child Best
If you're wondering whether to reach out, trust your instincts. You know your child best, and you are their best advocate.
Speech therapy is about supporting communication, connection, and participation in everyday life. Reaching out gives you the opportunity to ask questions, learn new strategies for home, and gain peace of mind.

I'd love to partner with your family and help your child find their voice.
