Repetition and challenge with safety.

Is DMI safe for babies and young children?
Yes. DMI is gentle and always guided by a trained pediatric therapist. Each movement is adapted to your child’s age, ability, and medical needs to ensure safety while still encouraging growth.
Who can benefit from DMI?
DMI is especially helpful for infants and children with conditions such as cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, genetic syndromes, developmental delay, prematurity, or low muscle tone. It’s also valuable for children who have not yet reached motor milestones like rolling, sitting, crawling, or walking.
How often are sessions recommended?
Every child is unique, but many families choose 1–2 sessions per week. Consistency is key, and many parents notice changes in posture, strength, or new skills within a few weeks of starting therapy.
What happens in a DMI session?
Your child will work through guided movement patterns like rolling, sitting, standing, or walking, depending on their needs. Therapists provide the right amount of support and challenge, and parents are shown how to reinforce progress at home. Sessions are playful, motivating, and always individualized.
Will insurance cover DMI?
