Every Child Has Something to Say

I've always wanted to serve our community in some capacity, and working with children in an outpatient setting allows me to do just that. I love connecting with children and their families, and no two days are ever the same. One of the most rewarding parts of my job is watching children accomplish their goals and celebrating those milestones alongside the people who love them most.

I enjoy working with children ages 1 to 10, especially those with early receptive and expressive language delays, speech sound and phonological disorders, school-aged language challenges, autism, and children who use AAC.

Helping Children Communicate with Confidence

I enjoy working with children who need support with:

  • Early receptive and expressive language

  • Speech sound and phonological disorders

  • School-aged expressive language

  • Autism

  • Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)

I believe every child deserves an approach that's individualized to their strengths and needs. I use evidence-based practices throughout therapy and continue to expand my knowledge through advanced training, including coursework in Orofacial Myology.

When You're Wondering If Your Child Needs Speech Therapy

Many parents reach out because they're worried their child isn't communicating the way they would expect for their age.

Some families have already explored school-based services or other outpatient therapy. Others have tried the "wait and see" approach. Every child and every situation is different, which is why I believe therapy should always be tailored to the unique needs of each child and family.

Connection Comes First

The first session with me is all about building a connection with your child and your family.

I truly believe communication cannot happen without connection. My goal is to create an environment where children and their caregivers feel safe, comfortable, and confident communicating. Once that trust is established, we can work together toward meaningful goals that support your child's success.

Watching Confidence Grow

One of the best parts of therapy is hearing families say they can clearly understand what their child is communicating, whether at home, at school, or in the community.

Families often tell me how special it is to watch their child grow, become more confident, and achieve goals they once thought were out of reach. Those everyday moments are what make this work so meaningful.

We're Here to Help

I wish more parents were comfortable asking for help.

Communication is complex, and it's okay to seek support for your child. Kids have a lot to say, and we want to make sure everyone understands them.

Whether you're looking for answers, reassurance, or a plan for moving forward, we'll work together to support your child's communication journey.

A Little About Me

I was born and raised in Bismarck, and I love being able to serve the community that raised me.

Outside of the clinic, you'll usually find me spending time with friends and family, traveling to explore new places, or catching up on my favorite reality TV shows.

Trust Yourself

If you're wondering whether to reach out, I would always encourage you to do so.

There is no harm in seeking additional resources for your child. We're here to answer your questions, provide guidance, and help your child develop the communication skills they need to thrive.
