Supporting Little Ones from the Very Beginning

I've always been drawn to pediatrics because of the opportunity to support children during some of the most important stages of their development. Early intervention can make a meaningful, lifelong impact, and I love being part of that journey.

I also appreciate the joy and laughter that naturally come with working alongside children through play, connection, and discovery. I love combining the medical knowledge behind child development with educating and empowering families, giving them the tools and confidence to support their child's progress every day. Occupational therapy has allowed me to bring both of those passions together, and I'm grateful to partner with families as they celebrate every milestone along the way.

From newborns learning to feed to school-age children navigating everyday challenges, I love helping children gain the skills they need to thrive.

Helping Children Grow, Eat, and Thrive

I have a special passion for helping infants and young children with:

  • Breastfeeding and bottle feeding

  • Oral motor function

  • Torticollis

  • Plagiocephaly

  • Infant development

  • Transitioning to solids

  • Toddler and child feeding

  • Developmental delays

  • Sensory processing

  • Bowel and bladder concerns

My advanced training includes:

  • Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC)

  • Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI)

  • Total Motion Release (TMR)

  • MNRI Reflex Integration

  • Pediatric bowel and bladder dysfunction

  • Infant massage

  • Aquatic therapy

Whether I'm working with a newborn or a school-age child, my approach is rooted in connection, education, and family-centered care. Therapy should be individualized, practical, and easy to carry into everyday routines so families feel confident supporting their child long after each session.

When You're Looking for Answers

Many families tell me they've spent hours searching online, trying different strategies, and wondering if they missed something or if their child will simply "catch up." By the time they come to Kids In Motion, they've often talked with their pediatrician, asked family and friends for advice, purchased recommended products, or tried ideas they found on social media. Some have waited months for answers or have been told to "wait and see" even though their instincts tell them something isn't quite right.

What families are often missing isn't effort. They need someone to connect the pieces, explain the "why" behind what they're seeing, and create a practical plan that fits their family's everyday life. My goal is to help families feel heard, understood, and confident with strategies that are meaningful, evidence-informed, and tailored to their child's unique strengths and needs.

Building Confidence Together

Your first visit is about building connection, understanding your child, and creating a plan together.

We'll talk through your concerns, learn about your child's strengths and daily routines, and observe how your child engages through play, movement, or other meaningful activities. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and more confident, with a better understanding of your child and how to help them thrive.

Celebrating the Small Wins

When therapy is working, families often tell me life simply feels easier.

The routines that once felt overwhelming become more manageable. Parents feel more confident supporting their child, and they begin to notice and celebrate the little victories along the way.

One of my favorite parts of this work is helping families recognize that progress isn't always one big milestone. More often, it's found in the small moments that add up over time. Those victories build confidence for both children and parents, making everyday life feel less stressful and more joyful.

A Partner for Your Family

Families often tell me they appreciate feeling truly listened to and supported throughout their child's journey. I strive to create a calm, welcoming environment where families feel comfortable asking questions, sharing concerns, and celebrating progress. Whether I'm supporting a newborn with feeding challenges or helping an older child build new skills, my goal is to combine clinical expertise with genuine connection so families feel confident and cared for. I also want parents to know they don't need to have all the answers before reaching out. You know your child better than anyone, and your questions, concerns, and gut feelings are worth listening to.

A Little About Me

Outside of work, I'm usually chasing after my busy, active kids and enjoying all the fun (and chaos!) that comes with family life.  I love staying active through running and strength training, curling up with a good book when I get the chance, and spending time baking, especially desserts and my latest sourdough experiments. My sourdough loaves are getting better, but I'm still very much a novice baker!

Trust Yourself

If something feels different, challenging, or you simply have a question, trust yourself.

Reaching out doesn't mean something is wrong. It means you're being proactive and looking for tools to help your child thrive. I'm here to listen, answer your questions, and walk alongside your family with support, encouragement, and understanding every step of the way.
